Gorgeous Spa in France

This place has been open since the summer of 2008; how did I not know about it?

Les Bains des Docks in Le Havre, France is a beautiful, modern day take on a Roman spa with several pools, waterfalls, hammam, spa, and more.  I love spas that have plenty of watery options. It was designed by  Jean Nouvel, who also designed the W Hotel in Dubai, the Ferrari factory in Italy, and the Guggenheim Museum in Guadalajara, among many other amazing, gorgeous buildings!

One of my all time favorite spas is in Asheville, NC: the Grove Park Spa.

I love the Arts and Crafts architecture too!
The Grove Park Inn was originally built in 1913 by an entrepreneur who made his millions selling "Grove's Tasteless Chill Tonic".  Several famous artists, writers and leaders have been guests, including Fitzgerald, Henry Ford, and Barack Obama.  And don't forget artist Rachel Parker (also the author of this blog ; )
